Sin Died Where the Blood Fell

This morning I was listening to a music tape of the song, "Sin Died Where the Blood Fell." I couldn't help thinking of the wonderful sacrifice Jesus Christ made for all of us. He died for the sins of the whole world, past, present and future. So the sin problem has been taken care of. If we hold on to our sins, this truth won't work for us, but if we decide to let our sins go by confessing them, then this great truth goes to work on our behalf and the Blood of Jesus begins to set us free. When we allow this to happen and begin to feed ourselves on God's Word, we become whole and satisfied in our inner man.

As women, we are guilty many times of looking to the male to satisfy our emotional hunger, which is a result of the fall of man. Part of the curse put on the woman in the garden that day was that she would "long after" the man and he would rule over her. It is an endless cycle. We look to the man to satisfy us emotionally (they are ruling over us), they don't satisfy us emotionally, we get mad at them (they are ruling over us), we make ourselves get over it or we find another man and the cycle starts again. The point it that no human being can satisfy us like Jesus can. I encourage you to invite Him into your life today and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit and then spend lots of time with Him. He's WONDERFUL!
