One Of the greatest portions of scripture to encourage us in God’ protection is found in Psalm 91. This Psalm is full of verses that tell us of the safe place God has for us if we will just get in it.
One way we do that is by believing in it and speaking it with our mouth. Couple that with obeying God’s commandments and we can have a safe place.
Let me read you a few choice portions of Psalm 91.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge My God, in Him I will trust.’"
See, “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge..” We have to say it.
And then in verse 9 it says … “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your habitation. No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;”
There is something we have to do … we have to say, we have to dwell, we have to make the Lord our refuge! There is a safe place for s but we have to get in it.
There is so much in this one scripture, there is no way for me to read it all to you right now. You’ll have to read it on your own. I just wanted to encourage you in this short moment we have together. Jesus loves you and in a dark and dangerous time He has a place of safety for you.
