A Freshly Plucked Olive Leaf

I guess since I teach a lot about the woman and her role, when I'm reading the Bible, I notice every small detail that might be helpful in training women. One day i was reading along in Genesis chapter 8 and there it was, another scripture about the power of the woman.

Did you know that when Noah was in the ark waiting for the flood waters to decrease, he sent out from himself a dove to see if the waters had ceased from the earth. But the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot and she returned into the ark. Noah waited another seven days and again he sent the dove out from the ark. This time she came to him in the evening, and behold a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth. Noah knew the waters had ceased from the earth.

You could look at this from many angles, but if you look at this symbolically, the freshly plucked olive leaf could represent a fresh anointed word from God. The anointing oil in the Old Testament was made from the olive plant, and this was a freshly plucked olive leaf. Hmmm ... I wonder if hidden deep in this story there isn't a truth that says "when there is a fresh anointed word in the mouth of a woman, it's a sign that judgment has ceased." If you consider the fact that women like to talk twice as much as men, a fresh anointed word in her mouth could mean a lot!
