I believe the Bible reveals that the woman was originally brought forth to tend to the "hidden matters of the heart" and because of this she is uniquely designed with a greater sensitivity in these matters.
This sensitivity also sets her up for greater opportunity for hurt and with that hurt comes bitterness. I believe the position that bitterness brings can be one of our greatest enemies. We must be alert to it because when it gets it's foot in the door of our heart, it will really bring us down!
In Hebrews 12:15 it says we are to be ... "looking diligently lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled..."
I caution you woman of God, keep a diligent lookout for the enemy in this area. And I remind you, God's grace is sufficient for you to deal with any situation and He is able to make it abound to you so don't you hesitate to ask for it!
Do what Jesus said in the very beginning of His ministry. Repent and believe!
