The Apostle Paul was truly a gift to the Church of Jesus Christ. Actually, I shouldn't use the word "was". I should use the word "is" because he "is" still having a powerful influence on us today.

In his letter to the Ephesians in chapter 3:14, he has a prayer for the church and he says:

"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,..."

and he goes on to say further...

"...that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory to be strengthened with might through His spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;..."

He's letting us know that our inner man has to be strong to carry Christ. In order for Christ to dwell in our hearts, they must be strong. And...Christ will dwell in our hearts, through FAITH. Faith is an assurance, a confidence. That's a strong heart.

I'm so glad we can pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen our hearts, and not only that, but it's according to HIS RICHES IN GLORY! That's basically saying, there is NO LIMIT to how strong we can be! Wow!
